NEWSLETTER: 1998-1999

Welcome to the sixth edition of the Annual Journal of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association of Israel. The Journal was founded in 1993 by then students Isaac Devash and Eytan Glazer in order to provide a link between HBS students and alumni interested in Israel. The editorial baton has been passed five times since then, and each edition has attempted to highlight the involvement of the HBS community in the Israeli business world. This edition includes articles on US venture capitalists who are investing in Israeli companies,  a report on an innovative initiative at the Center for Middle East Competitive Strategy as well as the standard fare of HBS-news. As the HBS community with ties to Israel continues to grow, we hope that this journal is able to meet its increasingly diverse needs. We also hope that you enjoy this issue and use it often as we enter 1999. Happy New Year!

Your editors,

Guy Miasnik ’99
Amir Goldman ’99
David Maurani ’99
